Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused commercial officer to manage customer relationships, drive sales opportunities, and coordinate customer requests across terminal, shipping, documentation, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with operations, documentation, terminal, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of customer jobs.
Monitor customer invoices, payments, outstanding balances, and other relevant financial documentation.
Maintain accurate customer records and provide timely updates on job status, customer requests, complaints, and other related matters.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring timely follow-up and excellent service delivery.
Drive sales by identifying new business opportunities, following up on enquiries, quotations, and converting prospects into customers.
Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in customer relationship management, must be within the shipping, container terminal, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Strong relationship management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
