Job Summary
The Civil / Structural Design Engineer is responsible for structural modeling, design development, and the preparation of construction and detailing drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures, focusing specifically on industrial projects within the Industrial Design Division.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review structural analysis and design models for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Prepare structural construction and detailing drawings based on approved design calculations and models.
Design industrial structures including steel frames, RC structures, equipment foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, and industrial buildings.
Coordinate structural designs and drawings with architectural, piping, and other engineering disciplines.
Revise drawings and models based on project requirements, technical reviews, and applicable engineering codes and standards.
Participate in technical coordination and design review meetings.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelor''s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering and design, with practical experience in both steel and reinforced concrete modeling.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant structural design/modeling software.
Ability to interpret structural calculations and develop accurate construction drawings.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills (architectural drafting experience is an advantage).
