Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project
Produce/monitor project from inception to completion.
Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data.
Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project.
Carryout site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
Carry out inspection and/or structural assessment of existing structures.
Carryout engineering design and assessment of new and existing structures.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Prepare bills of quantity.
Prepares detailed dimensional drawings for civil/structural project.
Report technical issues on site to unit head
Interpretation and application of Nexant policies and procedures to the construction activities.
Ensure quality of work done is consistent with Nexant values.
Ensure contractors meet agreed deadlines.
Produce and contribute to project reports.
Have understanding and good working knowledge of project plan.
Actively involved in bringing new opportunities to the company.
