Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Chinese Chef
to manage daily meal preparation for our Chinese staff and expatriate operational team. In this role, you will lead the company canteen kitchen, design authentic regional menus, ensure strict food safety standards, and manage kitchen inventory to maintain smooth, daily meal service.

Meal Prepar
ation & Cooking: Prepare authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine (including stir-fries, braised dishes, soups, steamed items, and staff cafeteria-style meals) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
Menu Planning & Variety: Plan balanced weekly menus catering to regional preferences (eg, Sichuan, Hunan, Cantonese, or Northern styles) while managing dietary requirements for expatriate staff.
Kitchen & Food Safety Hygiene: Maintain exceptional hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards across all kitchen prep areas, cooking stations, and food storage facilities.
Ingredient Management & Inventory: Monitor inventory levels of specialty imported Chinese seasonings, fresh local produce, meats, and dry goods; coordinate with administrative procurement to reduce waste and ensure steady supply.
Kitchen Operations: Oversee kitchen helpers/canteen staff, manage meal distribution times to align with manufacturing shift rotations, and inspect kitchen equipment to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Culinary Background: Proven experience as a Chef, Head Cook, or Senior Line Cook specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine (experience in corporate canteens, hotel kitchens, or industrial facility dining is highly desirable).
Skills & Techniques: Proficiency in traditional Chinese cooking methods (wok technique, butchery, steaming, braising, sauce preparation).
Hygiene Standards: Strong knowledge of food safety, food preservation, and cleanroom-adjacent sanitation standards.
Language & Communication: Functional Chinese communication skills (Mandarin) required to understand administrative meal schedules and staff preferences; basic English is a plus.
Adaptability: Ability to manage high-volume daily meal service within structured manufacturing shift hours in a Free Trade Zone environment.
