Fairtex Group is seeking a highly competent, experienced, and results driven Chief Accounting Officer to lead and oversee our accounting and financial reporting functions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, effective financial controls, statutory and regulatory compliance, and timely financial reporting to support sound business decisions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Must be a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
5 to 7 years’ relevant post qualification experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or a related role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit, financial controls, and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data management
Strong understanding of IFRS and applicable Nigerian financial reporting requirements
Excellent analytical, numerical, organisational, leadership, and problem solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure
