Brand & Category Strategy
Develop CEWA brand and category strategies using consumer, market and competitive insights.
Optimize portfolio and assortment through ABC analysis, range architecture, NPD evaluation and delisting recommendations.
Identify category growth opportunities and lead key strategic initiatives across CEWA.
Translate global and regional strategies into relevant local market plans.
Consumer & Market Insights
Build a strong understanding of CEWA consumers, category trends and competitive dynamics.
Leverage market data and research such as Kantar, Nielsen, Euromonitor and off-take data to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
Innovation & NPD
Develop business cases and go-to-market plans for NPDs, renovations and relaunches.
Coordinate with Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Production and Commercial teams to ensure successful and compliant launches.
Track launch performance and drive corrective actions where required.
Annual Marketing & Brand Performance
Support the annual Category Marketing Plan and deliver agreed Net Sales, Profit and Market Share targets.
Develop and monitor pricing strategies based on CEWA market dynamics and international price mapping.
Monitor brand/category performance and recommend actions to address gaps and capture opportunities.
Provide regular commercial updates to the SSA Leadership Team.
Marketing Communications
Provide local consumer and market insights to support communication development.
Lead and adapt 360-degree campaigns, digital and Always-On content for CEWA markets.
Ensure communication is consumer relevant and aligned with global/regional brand strategy.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Lead launch and relaunch projects, ensuring OTIF delivery across relevant markets.
Manage cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, Production, Regional and Global teams.
Ensure claims, communication and marketing activities meet legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Your Profile
Education-
University degree (Honours); Master’s degree an added advantage
Experience
Min 6 years brand management experience in FMCG industry in Marketing, S&CM experience would be an added advantage
Cross category working experience
Hands on experience in digital marketing
Skills & Abilities
Marketing skills including ATL and BTL development, research briefing & analysis, market analysis, consumer insight development, measurement and tracking of initiatives, claims, product & packaging development, concept development
Excellent communication skills to manage diverse relationships both locally and internationally.
Ability to identify patterns in data and develop action plans in response.
Strong Project management skills
