The
Business Development Manager
will be responsible Business Development & Opportunity Identification
Research and identify new business opportunities, potential clients and strategic markets.
Proactively seek opportunities that can contribute to the growth and visibility of CodeBridge Hub.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners, clients, sponsors and organisations.
Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities relevant to technology education and workforce development.
Partnerships & Strategic Relationships
Identify organisations, companies, NGOs, government agencies, educational institutions and other relevant stakeholders for potential partnerships.
Initiate conversations and develop relationships with prospective partners.
Prepare and deliver compelling partnership proposals and pitches.
Negotiate partnership opportunities and support the development of mutually beneficial agreements.
Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities for continued collaboration.
Sponsorship & Funding Opportunities
Identify organisations and programmes that offer sponsorship, grants or funding opportunities relevant to CodeBridge Hub.
Develop sponsorship proposals and partnership decks where required.
Pitch CodeBridge Hub''s programmes and initiatives to potential sponsors.
Support the organisation in securing sponsorship for training programmes, events, scholarships and other initiatives.
Student Employment & Internship Opportunities
A major responsibility of this role will be to create real-world career opportunities for CodeBridge Hub students.
The Business Development Manager will:
Identify companies and organisations willing to offer internships, industrial placements and employment opportunities to students and graduates.
Build relationships with HR departments, recruitment teams, founders and hiring managers.
Pitch CodeBridge Hub''s students and talent pool to potential employers.
Develop internship and employment partnerships with organisations.
Maintain a database of available internship, employment and career opportunities.
Work closely with the HR and Training teams to match suitable students with available opportunities.
Follow up with partner organisations to assess student performance and strengthen long-term relationships.
Sales & Pitching
Develop and deliver professional sales and partnership pitches.
Present CodeBridge Hub''s programmes, services and value proposition to prospective clients and partners.
Convert qualified leads into partnerships, clients or other business opportunities.
Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and other business development documents when required.
Follow up consistently with prospects until opportunities are closed or formally discontinued.
Networking & Representation
Represent CodeBridge Hub at relevant conferences, seminars, career fairs, technology events, business meetings and networking events.
Build a strong professional network within the technology, education, corporate and startup ecosystems.
Identify and leverage networking opportunities that can generate value for the organisation.
Reporting & Strategy
Maintain accurate records of prospects, partnerships, leads and business opportunities.
Provide regular reports to management on business development activities and outcomes.
Track key performance indicators, including leads generated, meetings secured, partnerships established, sponsorships obtained and student opportunities created.
Recommend new strategies for expanding CodeBridge Hub''s reach, partnerships and revenue opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have:
A Bachelor''s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, corporate relations, marketing or a related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven ability to pitch ideas, products, services or partnerships effectively.
Strong networking and relationship-management abilities.
Ability to identify opportunities and turn them into actionable partnerships.
Strong research and prospecting skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Good understanding of the technology, education, startup or digital skills ecosystem is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and other relevant business tools.
