Job Summary
An IT solutions company is looking to hire a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and converting opportunities across IT outsourcing, networking, infrastructure, and technology solutions. The role involves building strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their technology needs, and working with technical teams and OEM partners to deliver high-value solutions.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries; build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, industry events, and digital channels
Develop proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial offers; convert qualified prospects into paying customers
Understand client business challenges and translate them into technology requirements (IT outsourcing, managed services, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, connectivity, etc.)
Work with technical teams to design customised client solutions and clearly communicate ROI and business value
Build and maintain relationships with clients and key decision-makers throughout the engagement lifecycle
Leverage relationships with OEMs, distributors, and technology vendors to create client solutions and joint go-to-market opportunities
Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through to closure; maintain accurate forecasts and reports
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Monitor technology trends, competitor activity, and market positioning
Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
4–6 years of experience in B2B technology sales, IT solutions sales, telecommunications, networking, or IT outsourcing
Experience selling technology solutions to corporate/enterprise clients strongly preferred
Experience working with OEMs, distributors, or channel partners is an advantage
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, and managed services
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Technology-literate (not necessarily a technical engineer), able to work confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
