Job Summary
Safely drives a specialized fuel truck to the airport tarmac and pumps Jet A-1 fuel into aircraft.
Aircraft Refueling (Into-Plane Fuelling): Deliver fuel to planes on time while meeting strict airline schedules and ground handling agreements.
Quality Control Testing: Test the Jet A-1 fuel before, during, and after fueling to check for water, contamination, or bad specifications.
Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive the heavy fuel bowser safely inside airport boundaries and follow all airport speed limits and traffic rules.Equipment Inspections: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks on the bowser truck, pumps, hoses, and bonding cables.
Stock and Account Management: Keep records of fuel distributed, handle stock reconciliation, and issue error-free Aviation Delivery Invoices (ADIs).
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 12 years experience.
