Responsibilities
Carry out of vehicle service and repair as per specified in the service checklist and vehicle repair order.
Ensuring all service and repair are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedure adhering Company''s standard.
Practice of genuine replacement of parts and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
Diagnosis and identification of technical faults and determining the correct measure to take.
Identification of the spare parts required for any given job.
Ensuring the work assigned is carried out professionally and that the vehicles are clean and presentable prior to release from the workshop.
Maintaining standard FRT on works.
Ensuring compliance with safety systems and procedures.
Educational Qualifications Requirements
Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
Proven experience as an auto technician or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
Sound knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and mechanical components.
Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., trade test, automotive service excellence) will be an added advantage.
