Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, creative, qualified and experienced Art & Design Teacher to join our Primary School team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Art & Design lessons, developing pupils'' creativity and artistic expression, introducing them to a variety of artistic techniques and materials, assessing their progress and creating a stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor''s Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, Creative Arts, Design, Education, or a related field, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) where applicable as an added advantage.
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Experience teaching within a Cambridge Associate School is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Art & Design and effective teaching practices for young learners.
Strong creative and artistic skills with the ability to work with a variety of materials and techniques.
Ability to make Art & Design practical, engaging and age-appropriate.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer and digital design skills are an added advantage.
