Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design, plan, and oversee construction projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with innovative design skills to deliver functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing structures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural designs, drawings, and specifications.
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
Prepare detailed plans, including layouts, elevations, and 3D models.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with 3-4 years experience.
Professional license/registration (e.g., ARCON in Nigeria, RIBA, AIA).
Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD).
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Incorporate sustainable and cost-effective solutions into projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Excellent visualization, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with sustainable/green building practices
Work Environment
Full-time position.
Office-based with site visits as required.
Reports to the Head of Design or Project Director.
Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
