We are a brand name in the hospitality industry with branches in major cities including Abuja.
We required the services of an experienced and seasoned Accountant with at least 7 years experience which must include at least 3 years experience in similar position at least a four/five star hotel.
The ideal person shall be responsible Preparation of monthly management account as well as prepare or supervise the daily revenue ledgers.
Preparing the schedule of all statutory dues and ensure the prompt payment of same .
Team up with management and internal audit unit in formulation of internal control procedures.Review internal control and make recommendations to the management on any necessary modification.
Ensures that all expenses are within the budget limit and ensure basic approval for all expenses.
Must have good knowledge of inventory management and shall with others, Supervises the monthly stock taking and stock reconciliation and ensure compliance with inventory procedures
Prepares or supervise with other account officers, monthly bank reconciliation statement.
Liaise with procurement department and store in preparation of payment schedule for all creditors as well as front desk manager in computation of receivables.
Must be able to coordinate a large number of accounts staff and cashiers.
Requirement
Ideal candidate must posses a minimum of HND/Bsc in Accounting ICAN AAT,with relevant years of experience. Advance stage in ICAN is an added advantage.Candidate with ICAN AAT2/Foundation ,with relevant years of experience may also apply. Candidate must also have good knowledge of Ms Excel and word and at least one accounting software.
