Job Summary
Position: Accountant
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily books of accounts and record financial transactions accurately.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash replenishment.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, verifying supporting documents and approvals.
Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and reports for management.
Compile monthly payroll data and ensure tax and statutory compliance.
Organize and properly file financial records for internal and external audits.
About You
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
5 Years of relevant accounting experience.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks
Competencies:
Strong attention to detail, knowledge of Ethiopian tax/IFRS standards, and good communication skills.
