Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and responsible professional to serve as the company’s technical/regulatory person for food importation and EFDA-related activities. The position will be responsible for supporting food import licensing, product registration, import permits, regulatory compliance, and communication with EFDA.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the company’s EFDA food import licensing and competency requirements
Support registration of imported food products
Prepare and submit regulatory documents and applications
Follow up on EFDA import permits and related approvals
Review product labels, certificates, specifications, and supporting documents
Maintain regulatory records and ensure timely renewal of licenses
Communicate with EFDA and other relevant government offices
Support compliance with applicable food safety and import requirements
About You
Qualifications
BSc Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, or a closely related field
Relevant professional experience in food importation, food safety, regulatory affairs, or quality control is an advantage
Good understanding of food safety, food labeling, storage, and quality requirements
Knowledge of EFDA food registration and import procedures is highly desirable
Good computer skills and ability to work with online regulatory systems
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work responsibly and coordinate with regulatory authorities
