Job Summary
Responsible for providing frontline customer service and clinical sample collection at the Debre Markos branch. The role encompasses patient registration, sample collection and labeling following strict standard operating procedures, cash collection, and ensuring high-quality service delivery under JCI-accredited laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and label laboratory samples from walk-in and credit patients following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complete patient data entry, manage cash collection, and deliver collected samples securely using proper tracking forms (pre-alert sheets).
Utilize phlebotomy materials efficiently and adhere to safety and infection prevention guidelines.
Address customer inquiries, provide professional assistance, and report any technical complaints to the supervisor or customer service manager.
Perform additional customer service and operational duties assigned by the line manager.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
BSc Degree in Medical Laboratory Technologist (0 years of work experience with a renewed professional license).
OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (Minimum of 2 years of work experience with a renewed professional license).
Required Skills & Competencies
Proficient in Amharic, English, and local languages with exceptional communication, active listening, and positive customer service phrasing.
Strong time management skills and motivation for continuous professional self-development.
