- Position Summary
- The Director – Islamic Finance will lead the establishment, development, and management of the institution’s Islamic finance operations. The role requires a strategic leader with strong experience in a technology
- driven environment , capable of delivering innovative, compliant, and scalable financial solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, launch, and expansion of Sharia
- compliant financial products
- Develop and implement Islamic finance strategy aligned with company objectives
- Ensure full compliance with Sharia principles and regulatory requirements
- Drive digital transformation and integration of technology in Islamic finance services
- Establish partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including scholars, fintechs, and institutions
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and profitability of the Islamic finance unit
- Build and lead a high
- performing team
- Monitor market trends and promote innovation in Islamic financial solutions
- Job Requirement
- Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certification or training in Islamic Finance is highly desirable
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial
- level experience in a technology
- driven environment (preferably in Islamic finance, banking, or fintech)
- Strong understanding of Sharia
- compliant financial products and services
- Proven leadership and business development experience
