Guided by a vision of a just, caring,and sustainable world, our mission is to save lives, alleviate poverty, and empower communities in line withthe core humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence.Position OverviewThe Community Mobilizer will lead beneficiary identification, group formation, mobilization, coordinationwith local structures, and facilitate all community engagements. The role is central to ensuring communityownership and smooth implementation of livelihood and child-focused activitiesMain Responsibilities Support transparent and participatory beneficiary identification and selection. Form and strengthen Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for widows and livelihood groups. Facilitate group dynamics training, mobilization sessions, and community meetings. Engage community elders, women’s committees, and local authorities for coordination. Mobilize beneficiaries for vocational/IGA trainings and peer-to-peer learning sessions. Maintain regular communication with target communities and provide updates. Help disseminate project information, selection criteria, and accountability procedures. Identify community protection concerns and refer them to relevant structures. Support sensitization on child protection, education, and womens empowerment. Assist in planning and organizing events, trainings, and field activitiesNB: Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned responsibilities; they may perform other duties asassignedQualifications & ExperienceJob AdvertisementVer.Mar.2026Job Title: Community MobilizerLocation: Baidoa District, Bay Region, SomaliaContract period: 20 months (with possibility of extension based on performance andfunding)Work Arrangements On SiteSalary Range: $400 - $500.Closing Date: 28th March 2026Ver.Mar.2026
