WISOM was founded with the belief that good education was essential if Africa was to meet the challenges it faced. Within, its strategic pillar, Windle International Somalia focus to support Education and Training, Resilience, Research and Innovation, Advocacy and System Strengthening.Inourcommitmenttoenhancequalityeducationandtrainingwhilecreatingeffectiveemployability pathways in line with “Education Transforms society”, we support children andyoung people that are affected by conflict and crisis.WISOM is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position ofAccountant.KEY RESPONSIBILITY•Undertake day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, and bank reconciliations.•Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, monitoring, and financial reporting for specific projects/grants.•Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax laws, and donor financial regulations.•Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management, donors, and auditors.•Strengthen internal financial controls and processes for greater transparency.•Support grant management lifecycle (from proposal to closure).•
