Naflet hotel is a top notch world class hotel located in Adama. Naflet Hotel has opened its door and has been serving its guests since October 2022. To attain its objective, the management of the hotel is looking for talented and passionate hotel professionals for the following vacant positions.? Job summary: The Engineering & Maintenance Department maintains and makes improvements to the Hotel building and equipment, controlling the heating and cooling within the building, maintains operating equipment televisions etc. The primary objective of this document is to set the guide line on the continuous Duties & Responsibilities; Prepare, implement, and monitor maintenance plans for building, vehicles, generators and equipment. Coordinate and manage the activities of hotel engineering and maintenance functions. Ensure the smooth flow of the entire hotel operations relating to his/her specific area of responsibility. ?Facilitate and assist in the preparation of the goals & objectives for his department and assist other departments. Ensure the proper allocation and efficient utilization of resources to/within his department. Effectively deal with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel. Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, its employees, and its customers. Periodically report the maintenance needs to the general manager. Maintain building, equipment, vehicle and hotel surrounding area in sound working order. Term of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of probation period Reports to: General ManagerRequired qualification BSc Degree or above in mechanical engineering or any related field from recognized institute is desired. Experience At least five years? experience as an engineering and maintenance manager, maintenance supervisor and/or head in a three- or above-star level hotel. Additional Skills Competent and capable to function in an individual and a team setting ?Ability to work under pressure. ?Willingness to work extended hours and on holidays. Ability to assist in computer hardware and printer maintenance Good human relation skill Language proficiency Good command of spoken and written English is required.
