Eagle Eyes horticulture PLC sister company Gaber Yebego Adragot Dirjit is currently under formation as a Board- Led Organization with the aim of supporting vulnerable people in rural areas, with particular focus on Ezsha Woreda, to have access to basic necessities and creating sustainable livelihoods by improving their opportunities to education, environmental and natural resources protection as well as social and cultural values enhancement.The Organization, therefore, wants to recruit and hire a highly skilled, competent, versatile and experienced professional who meets the particulars here below.Job-responsibilities: The position holder is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, managing, monitoring and evaluating the whole gamut of the Organization’s operational activities, including resources mobilization and community empowerment towards the attainment of the Organization’s objectives. Salary and benefits: Negotiable and attractive depending on the applicant’s experience and skills. Work place: Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the project sites.Terms of Employment: PermanentQualifications and experience: Candidates interested in the position should meet the following minimum requirements:- A minimum of Master’s degree in Social Works or Sociology or Community Developments or Management, or any other related field;A minimum of 10 years’ experience in managerial level positions, of which at least five to six years as a Director in a not-for-profit organizations.Competency requirements: The applicants for the position must have:-Good understanding of current issues affecting the livelihoods and dignities of people in rural set ups, and the efforts to address these situations. Strong organizational and negotiation skills as well as capabilities in creating, developing and maintaining partnership with governmental, non-governmental and private sector organizations as well as social entrepreneurs. Excellent qualities as self-starter, proactive, strategic thinker, and capable of acting on own initiatives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least two other local languages. Excellent skills in report writing and presentations, customer relations, and contract management. |
