International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is one of the largest independent clinical diagnostic centers on the African continent. ICL opened its door for service in 2004 with the aim of “contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of life throughout Ethiopia” by encompassing a system of human and physical resources designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of the population it serves. It is the only laboratory accredited by the USA-based Joint Commission International (JCI) five times in a row. The laboratory provides more than 3000 tests in collaboration with its referral laboratories. ICL would like to fill the following vacant positions under the Customer Service Section by inviting all qualified and competent applicants:Basic Function of position: Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities; coordinate business generation activities; develop customized targeted sales strategies, retain customers. Key responsibilities:Establish, promote, and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing client bases, including doctors at both private and public hospitals and clinics, and CorporatesIdentify customer needs and requirements to promote our servicesProvide accurate and timely information to customers regarding inquiries such as products, pricing, quotes, and issues/concernsIdentify opportunities and potential clients/prospects while developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve new business sales targets and resultsCold call; make multiple outbound calls to potential clients and close salesNegotiate and manage sales contracts Support lead-generation campaigns Manage and enrich prospect & clients databaseMaintain a pipeline of all sales administrationMonitor competitor activity and competitors products ensuring competitive pricingDistribute marketing material to current & potential clientsCollaborationsAssist in determining pricing schedules for quotes and costing schedulesAssist in developing sales-related documentsWork alongside the marketing team to assist in campaigns, social media, and general marketing documentsAssist, when necessary, with customer reconciliation reports and forecasting when requestedAssist in preparing, organizing, and delivering successful MyLab check eventsTravel to territories outside of scope to assist when required KPIsIncrease monthly patient sample volumesIncrease market share in-countryIncrease the active clients’ databaseEnsure required monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are metComplete and submit weekly & monthly reportsServe as the first point of contact for customer’s complaints, coordinate with customer support and client relations to complete the customer complaint feedback loopAd-HocBe available to work after hours and on weekends if requiredSet up dashboards and reports, to track sales and identify areas for improvementAssist with ad-hoc requests from managementRequired:- 2 (two)Reports to:- Marketing Department Employment Condition:- PermanentQualifications & Experiences At least 2 years’ experience in the Healthcare or Medical Industries is desirable diploma and above in the medical profession Sales experience or qualification is an advantageExperience in IT information technology would be an advantage Skills Required: Strong and proven relationships in the healthcare Knowledge of the sales process or background is an advantageCustomer orientatedExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong sense of ethics and integrityGood interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work within a team as a team playerAdvanced computer literacies Ms Office:- Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to work independentlyAbility to work under pressureGood interpersonal skills |
