Our history and strong commitment to coffee and Ethiopia compels us to work with farmers and buyers who share our core values.Position - Import/Export Logistics Senior ExpertDuty Station - METAD Headquarters Office, Addis AbabaThe Import/Export Logistics Senior Expert is a position holder who reports to the Export Manager and handles overall logistical activities related to import and export. Create, monitor, and complete shipments on time.Prepare and maintain a delivery schedule and communicate to all relevant departments. Ensure the integrity and timely preparation and authorization of Import/Export documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices, and Packing lists.Arrange cargo shipments.Prepare documentation for export functions.Initial setup of export shipment.Manage data entry, billing of services close shipments and filing activities.Ensure customer is provided excellent service throughout the export process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution.Assist Export Manager with freight rates research.Make bookings with the lines and co-loaders.Prepare and clear titles for export through Customs.Coordinate/ensure all export documentation is completed on time.Keep control logs to ensure all export operations duties are done timely.Coordinating with the packing warehouses to ensure that cargo is loaded into containers and delivered to harbor on time.Day-to-day tracking and monitoring of shipments.Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.BA or MA in a Logistics field or equivalent work experience6 years for MSc or 4 years for BSc.In AdditionDatabase managementKnowledge of Transportation Management System techniques, tools, and metrics.ReconcilingSales and MarketingISOFreight ForwarderCompliance Quoting |
